Booking and detailed information services for restaurants on Tablefinder.com have for the time being been limited to selected restaurants in mainly the UK, Paris and New York.
Our aim is to reopen booking services for restaurants in other locations during January, when we will also release a number of new features that will provide users with a better user interface, much more detailed information about restaurants, current special offers and more.
So keep booking if you're in London, Manchester, New York, Paris, Glasgow, Gothenburg or any major UK city.
For the rest of you: Please be patient. Our service will be back online for you soon, in the meantime enjoy the holidays!
Merry Christmas to all of you!

As you might have noticed tablefinder.com has been running quite slowly during the last few days/weeks. This is due to high traffic on the site. We are working on solutions to remove bottlenecks in performance and speed up the site.
Patches will be released frequently over the next few days to improve your experience!

We just launched a whole new version of the site with a bunch of new features. Perhaps most important of all are:
- a new table search
- new social features
- and tools that make it easier for you to organize your restaurants
You will also notice that the site has a new front page with new features and a new fresh look.
On top of this we will be adding a few thousand new bookable restaurants to the service within the next few days.
More on this very soon. Unfortunately I have to get on a flight to London in about 45 minutes so I need to stop blogging now!

Since we went live loads of feedback has come in from non-beta type people. This feedback is worth its weight in gold, so please don’t just swear to yourself when something does not work the way you want it to. Pick up your e-mail client and send all of your thoughts straight to feedback@tablefinder.com.
We are in the second version of our beta with our booking platform, but our web interface is still very much in alpha.
You can also use the feedback form located at http://www.tablefinder.com/eng/Feedback/.

Today we are proud to announce the first basic release of Tablefinders restaurant community codenamed Asparagus. (We thought version numbers were so dull. Fancy food-names are much better.)
This feature includes all of the most basic parts of an online community built on user generated content.
Users are now able to tag almost anything, write reviews, rate restaurants, add friends, communicate with friends, upload photos, find restaurants near specified location, and most importantly, get paid for making reservations.
Tablefinder connects new restaurants to the network every week where our users can enjoy a good meal and some nice wine or beer or water for that matter.
The Asparagus release will be the base of our community which we will continue to develop each day. New releases come often so don't forget to subscribe to this feed, and don't forget to sign up for an account at tablefinder.com.

Anders Fredriksson, CEO

Tablefinder hits the news again. Below are two Swedish articles about seeking venture funding. I had a nice meeting with Hans Otterling at NorthZone Ventures, and Computer Sweden was there to make a story about entrepreneurs meeting venture capitalists.

Just in time for Valentines day, we decided to send out a few betatester invites. These selected few can make their valentines day reservations in time, in realtime. Reservations can be placed at a few selected restaurants in the Gothenburg area. Other functions besides making reservations and sending invites, have been disabled in this release. These will be added during the next couple of weeks, so be patient, and make sure to check in once in a while either here or at tablefinder.com for updates. During the week, our partner restaurangguiden.com, will be launching their new site. There you can find information about restaurants and also make reservations using your tablefinder account.
Do you want to make money by generating reservations to the tablefinder network? Make sure you check out our Affiliate program when it comes available. If you want any more information about this or just have a suggestion, send an email to feedback at tablefinder dot com, or visit our feedback site if you have an account.
Regards,
The Development Team
