New release: Chamomile

We just launched a whole new version of the site with a bunch of new features. Perhaps most important of all are:

  • a new table search
  • new social features
  • and tools that make it easier for you to organize your restaurants

You will also notice that the site has a new front page with new features and a new fresh look.

On top of this we will be adding a few thousand new bookable restaurants to the service within the next few days.

More on this very soon. Unfortunately I have to get on a flight to London in about 45 minutes so I need to stop blogging now!

Tablefinder releasing exclusive news at Minibar

Are you going to MiniBar this Friday?

Well if you are, be prepared for some exclusive news and previews! The guys are working hard to get the new stuff ready for SeedCamp "Demo Day" Wednesday next week. Tomasz will present a preview of the stuff going on in our lab.

See you there!

Tablefinder Expoing at FOWA

Come visit us at our stand at Future of Web Apps! We will be here until Friday.

Introducing: Tablefinder Official Blog, now with comments!

After a rather embarrassing 18 months you can now comment on the Tablefinder blog. :) This new hot innovation is really cool, you should try it! You can actually click on the comments page, and write something, and then… when you click post… it's amazing… it posts the comment.

Ok ok, a little irony above. :) The reason being that Jimmy noticed a couple of days ago why we in 18 months not have had any comments on our blog… It wasn't working. To my defense I have to say that the mod_rewrite rules suggested from Wordpress didn't work. So now I wrote some new rules and updated to the latest version and voilla… Tablefinder is back from the 90s and has joined the rest of the blogging world. :) yay!

Server down time yesterday

Due to a major power failure and a failure of the backup power at our internet provider in Stockholm yesterday, tablefinder.com was not available for about an hour. We really hope that our suppliers are doing everything they can to make sure this does not happen again. Read more about the incident here.
