Keep the feedback coming!

Since we went live loads of feedback has come in from non-beta type people. This feedback is worth its weight in gold, so please don’t just swear to yourself when something does not work the way you want it to. Pick up your e-mail client and send all of your thoughts straight to feedback@tablefinder.com.

We are in the second version of our beta with our booking platform, but our web interface is still very much in alpha.

You can also use the feedback form located at http://www.tablefinder.com/eng/Feedback/.

We are Live!

A couple of days since we launched the site, but we just sent out all the invites to the beta subscribers. Now we will hold on and keep working on all features in the pipeline.

You can now reach thousands of restaurants in 15 countries! The number of restaurants varies, since we only list restaurants which have available tables.

Please report if you have any issues with the site.

Update: We are currently experiencing some weird IE6 issues. This is only in some versions of IE6.  Please report if you have any issues with the site.

Tablefinder partners with Livebookings - The largest restaurant booking network in the world

Today I am proud to announce the results of a few months work. We have just signed a strategic partnership with Livebookings Network. This is an important step towards our goal of giving access to all online bookable restaurants.

Interestingly enough they managed to write about this at Techcrunch before I did. ;)

Here is a link to our official Press release

Stay tuned for more news these next few coming days!

 Tablefinder

What a week!

Tablefinder was selected as one of the 6 "winners" of SeedCamp 2007! However, all of the 20 teams in London last week are winners in our opinion. The lineup of mentors were just amazing and everyone attending got something good out of the week.

We finally managed to nail a description of what we do, to be able to explain to anybody what we want to achieve with our vision.

When we first described our business a lot of people thought that we were trying to compete with reservation giants like OpenTable and Livebookings, when we are really trying to help them make more money. The online reservation market is very fragmented at the moment, where you have to go to different sites to book different restaurants. Tablefinders aim is to bring all of those fragments together in an open and rewarding community. By doing that we are able to give access to 100% of online bookable restaurants, everywhere in the world. This has been our vision from the start, to make all the online bookable restaurants bookable through Tablefinder, and with the help of SeedCamp, we are able to make our vision come true.

SeedCamp does not only help us come closer to our vision, but also is a big initiative in really changing the European entrepreneurial playground. A lot of people are afraid to fail, and many great ideas get lost in the process. We all need to change our views on what it means to have an idea and give it a shot. We all need to support each other and help people with great ideas change the world. So if your friends come with an idea, don't put it off as a joke, help them make their vision come true.
