Missed concepts of Web2.0

When people are trying do define web2.0 and trying to understand what it means, user-generated content usually comes up.

And I agree, user-generated content is THE key factor to success. But what most people forget, is why should users enter information. When we are trying to go beyond the tech-enthusiasts we need to create reasons for users to enter information. Not everyone will edit an article on wikipedia. A lot of services created today focus on the information gathering as a service in itself. I believe this will not work in the long term. The service need to be separated from the businessmodel, services should add value for the user, provide the service for free, and then focus your business around the information entered.

Visiting Webbdagarna got me inspired to write a little piece about what I believe a lot of people are missing.

Internetworld are liveblogging at the conference and they also wrote a piece about my presentation.

Tablefinder spoiled with news coverage… again

Tablefinder have seen quite a lot of news coverage lately, and we are happy about the attention. This time I even get to share my very "clean" desk with everyone. I tried to convince the photographer not to take pictures of my desk, but what can I say, it is the ugly truth, and I will stand by it! :)

Here is a link to the swedish article. "Anders bord(e) vara ett hett tips" (I bet they were pleased coming up with that headline) :) sorry all non-swedish readers, but it doesn't really translate.
