Warming up for l(a)unch

During the past months we have been developing what we like to call the next generation restaurant reservation technology. The time has come when we enter the launchphase, installing our clients and opening up the service for our private beta testers. Customer “Service” Management

A couple of days ago I was thinking about CRM systems for the restaurant industry. What is a relation between a guest and a restaurant really? Is relation really the right word? I mean it’s not like the restaurant knows the guest. What’s really going on is a service. It is not the relation to the guest the restaurant is trying to improve directly, but the service, thus Customer Service Management or CSM. By improving the service using a CSM system, all guests can be treated as VIPs.
